Leadership training
Physician leadership program

The challenge
When working with the continuing medical education group at Stanford's School of Medicine, I was tasked with developing and launching the team's first-ever physician leadership program. This competency based program was designed to fill a gap in leadership training within the physician community.
My role
Using Articulate Storyline 360, I created a self-paced introductory video—one of several designed to supplement the live, in-person training. The program followed a cohort-based model over six months and concluded with a capstone project. Recruitment focused on both internal Stanford physicians and external medical professionals.
The demo linked here features interviews with physician leaders discussing their experience with facilitation—one of the core topics in the program’s curriculum. Learners can select the leader whose experience best aligns with their role or aspirations and hear insights from that expert.
The results
The program addressed a key need within the physician community by fostering a professional network for participants and offering continuing education credits toward their licensure requirements.
